Clinical Services Director (Designate)

This is a national role providing direction, leadership and the delivery of safe clinical quality stoma care service across acute and community settings.  You will provide strong leadership and guidance to the Board across a range of key areas, including clinical quality improvement, patient experience and nursing service development.  With resonsibility for a Nursing team you will grow and develop the specialist service and secure nursing contracts within the NHS and community settings.
  
You must have proven and relevant experience at this level, and possess appropriate professional nursing qualifications. You will promote a style of leadership that empowers staff, recognises achievement and encourages development.  A commitment to continually striving to improve quality and patient care will also be key.
   
Essential Experience;
Registered General Nurse Practitioner with current NMC registration
Proven strategic leadership
Proven high level of managerial competency and interpersonal skills
Good financial awareness, including business planning and budgeting
Highly energetic, proactive and driven to succeed
Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management
Results driven, possessing a proven track record of delivering against targets
Experience of service delivery and contract negotiations
Able to communicate and influence a range of people at differing levels  - NHS procurement, Clinical Nursing, CCGs, customer service, sales, marketing.
Able to energise, shape and direct a team to maximise motivation
Able to support and develop staff to deliver business goals
Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice
Knowledge of the NHS Improvement System and Care Quality Commission
Have demonstrable achievements in improving patient care, safety and service delivery
Forward thinking and innovative.
A good working knowledge of NHS procurement, service delivery and CCGs.

Sales Department: Nurse Advisor
 

Basic Salary: £30,000-35,000
Location: Gloucestershire, Somerset, and part of M4 Corridor

The Nurse Advisor will work across both the Primary & Secondary Care Sectors within an agreed territory, advocating our Continence products & services through Training & Education, the role will include, where appropriate, Patient & Product reviews and a Home Delivery Service. You will also be required to work closely with colleagues from within the sales team to ensure successful achievement of company objectives.
 
Essential Experience;
 Registered Nurse Qualification (minimum 2 years post registration experience)
 NMC Registered
 Must live on territory
 Experience of working within Continence
 Customer focused with a proactive and “can do” attitude
 Commercial awareness
 Ability to plan, implement and manage own time effectively
 Flexible approach to managing territory and service
 Dynamic and forward thinking
 Driving Licence
 Excellent communication skills, good networker and rapport builder

Community Stoma Care Nurse
 
Basic Salary: £28,000 to £34,000​​
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Durham, Darlington and surrounding ​​areas

This role requires flexibility in working patterns.

Experience Required;
  • Two/three years post registration experience
  • NMC Registered
  • To complete the V150 Independent Prescriber qualification with agreed period of time post induction into the post.
  • Stoma or Colorectal background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in order to meet patient and service needs
  • Ability to plan, implement and manage own time effectively
  • Dynamic and forward thinking
  • Determination to progress professionally in Stoma/Colorectal nursing
  • Full and valid Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication skills, good networker and rapport builder
  • Ability to interrogate data and formulate advice, plans of action and reports

Sales role: Urology, Continence & Woundcare Product Specialist
 

Basic Salary: £30,000-35,000
Location: East England

Focused on promotion to increase the usage of the Urology, Continence & Woundcare product range and related Home Delivery Service through all Hospital and Community outlets and Wholesalers. You will be responsible for the management and smooth running of your defined territory.
 
Essential Experience;
 Proven experienced sales person
 Must live on territory
 Must be comfortable with occasional overnight stays as needed
 Key Account management experience desirable
 Experience of medical sales; urology, continence and woundcare
 Experience of dealing with the NHS, Hospitals and community –  including procurement, pharmacy and key opinion leaders
 Experience of selling Intermittent Self Catheterisation devices
 Proven experience of CCG mapping
 Analytical and enquiring mind
 Experience of budgetary control
 Influential/persuasive

Desirable Experience;
 Experience of managing a large territory
 Nursing background


Group Regulatory Advisor - Medical Devices
 
Basic Salary: £65,000

With a remit to shape the regulatory strategy for the business across a number of companies, this role will suit someone analytical who likes to mentor to create change. There is also some responsibility for the Quality plan for the group. This will have a central UK base with lots of travel, and the successful candidate will have regulatory and quality experience within medical devices. 
  
Required Skills:
 Regulatory experience within Medical Devices
 Quality Management experience
 Clean room manufacturing experience essential
 FDA experience desirable
